Stan Bronson, the Executive Director of the Florida Earth Foundation, is a 7th generation Floridian from a farming and ranching family who instilled in him a deep love and respect of land and water resources. Stan helped to develop and cultivate an international public-private partnership through the United Nations that shares knowledge and brings authentic people together to solve water problems. The description of UNESCO-IHE and the partnership developed with Florida Earth demonstrates global knowledge exchange that can provide substantially beneficial tools for solutions. Opportunities for organizations, corporations and individuals to support Water Ambassadors, the MSc students who participate in the program, connect people by establishing relationships with these students from all over the world.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
