USNC Professional Team in Netherlands May 9-13

Published on by in Non Profit

The 2016 US-Netherlands Connection's Professional Program (USNC Pro) will be in the Netherlands on Monday, May 9, through Friday, May 13.  This year's team will have a focus of creating a criteria for tools that would be useful for decision makers having to deal with the big data issue.  The team will use the new Dutch Digital Delta initiative as a case study and base from which to set the stage for the program's agenda,  Digital Delta was developed as a partnership between the Rijkswaterstaat, Deltares, TU Delft, and Delfland Water Authority, with IT expertise powered by IBM.  Visiting some of the most famous water related sites in the world, this USNC Pro team will get the opportunity to hear from and discuss how the Dutch collect data, systhesise and analyse it and then make efficient and sound decisions.  A day by day outline of the week:
