I have followed this off and on for years and feel both sides can better manage their resources. I have been involved in water conservation in GA for almost ten years and watched Atlanta make progress in conservation, but much more is possible. Both domestic and non-domestic use is higher then it should be and I believe the perceived loss of revenue keeps the utilities from pushing efficiency to its possibility. There is also the entitlement mentality of this is our water and we need it. A lot of it comes form the general lack of appreciation for water in this country. Until they are pushed I see little more improvement.
